What this program is

Parent Telegram helps authorized school staff contact parents and guardians about student incidents, conference requests, forms, and other school-required notifications by email, text message (SMS), and robocall (voice). Messages are sent on behalf of the school. This program is not affiliate marketing, lead generation, or advertising.

How parents opt in

Opt-in type: paper and digital school forms. Parents and guardians may provide a mobile number and, if they choose, check an SMS consent box that is unchecked by default. SMS consent is optional and is not required to complete school enrollment or any other school transaction. The school then authorizes teachers to send messages only to parents who opted in. There is no public keyword opt-in and no purchased list.
