Purpose

Parent Telegram helps authorized school staff document student incidents, contact parents, and maintain records required for school operations. Student data is used only to support that workflow.

FERPA alignment

Parent Telegram is designed for school official use under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Access is limited to invited staff within a school tenant. Teacher and administrator roles are assigned by invitation and cannot be self-selected.

Data we store

• Student roster and contact information
• Incident documentation and staff actions
• Parent communication records (email, text, voice)
• Conference requests and escalation packets
• Audit logs of staff activity

What we do not do

• Sell student or parent data
• Use student data for advertising
• Share records outside the school account without authorization
